Sadly, there is a tremendous need for ChildSafe, a local nonprofit organization that provides counseling services to victims of child sexual abuse and their families, as well as adults who were victims as children. Without their work, it is likely that the cycle of abuse and dysfunction would remain unbroken in countless numbers of local families. Homes For Our Troops is a national non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization founded in 2004. They are strongly committed to helping those who have selflessly given to our country and have returned home with serious disabilities and injuries since September 11, 2001. They build and provide at no cost a new home that provides maximum freedom of movement and the ability to live more independently.
