Let It Shine owner Pat Dengler and employees after cleaning a home built by Homes For Our Troops and donated to SSgt John Jones and his family.

THANK YOU SSGT JOHN JONES

We have such respect for those whom serve a cause greater than just themselves, so when we had the opportunity to donate our cleaning services in the summer of 2009 to the new home built for SSgt John Jones and his family in Fort Collins, we jumped at the chance. Sponsored by the national not-for-profit organization, Homes For Our Troops www.homesforourtroops.org and led by general contractor Larry Archer of Spring Creek Homes in Fort Collins www.springcreekhomesco.com the home was built and donated at no charge to our wounded soldier and his family.

Let It Shine Employees were given the choice of being paid for their time cleaning this home upon the completion of construction or pooling the wages they would have earned to make a cash contribution to Homes For Our Troops. Unanimously, April, Jason, Jim (and Bev!), Julie, Scott and Tamie all chose to donate their wages! We are very proud and thank our staff for their involvement in this project.

We salute SSgt John Jones for his service and sacrifice and our community for their gratitude and generosity.
